Today and yesterday we had the kick-off meeting of this new project.
PLEIADES ꟷ Advancing Aerospace Composites through Induction Welding & New Vitrimeric Formulations Enhanced by Integrated Photonic Sensors, Providing Data to Digital Supply Chain, SHM, Maintenance ꟷ brings together different disciplines and key technologies that will contribute to advancing composite aerostructures and promote the digital transformation in aviation.
Today we had the kickoff meeting of the new collaborative project "SURMOUNT" in which two CMST teams, together with project partners, will work towards smart wound dressings that can monitor and predict wound healing progression. CMST will develop miniature optical sensors and readout electronics to measure blood flow and will also develop technologies to integrate this sensor together with temperature, pH and moisture sensors in a smart dressing.
The first newsletter of the Aquarius-project has been published. The first issue of includes some main project information and the concept and provides an overview on the individual work packages and their progress within the first few project months.
